We took a moment to speak with our Director of Sales, Sam Sarver, to find out his thoughts for Haws in 2015.
How did you begin working at Haws and how long have you worked there?
I joined Haws 8 years ago when Scot McLean was in the process of changing the sales model at Haws. I was then based in Pennsylvania and became the Haws Eastern Regional Sales Manager.
What sales opportunities do you see Haws having and taking advantage of in the 2015 year?
I believe all of our opportunities are centered around providing solutions for our customers. Haws is about two things : 1) providing a safer workplace for employees and 2) providing “ Away From Home” hydration for everyone. Our innovative products and creative team members make the difference.
As Director of Sales, what are some current or upcoming strategic initiatives in place for our sales team and channel?
We will continue to evolve our sales team focusing on our customers. It is important for us to be able to support the customer through the many different channels that exist today.
What are you most excited about for Haws in 2015?
The fact that we will continue to change and evolve as a company, providing solutions for our traditional markets and the new markets we are addressing alike. Change is challenging and healthy.
What is your favorite city to travel to and why?
That is difficult for me to answer, as I have many favorite cities. Excluding my home turf of the Northeast. I will say Chicago, it has so many different things to do when the work day is done. The people, the restaurants and sports venues are great.
What is your favorite sports team and why?
Pittsburgh: Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers (in alphabetical order). Can you tell I am originally from Pennsylvania? Supporting those teams was an important part of my upbringing and it is something I continue to share with my family.
